Play, Make, Create

 Today we did Play, Make, Create, and I made a playground for a tiger I think that it turned out good and it was really fun and hard to do. The book was called we are all equal. Today I worked by myself like last week.

Today we did play, make, create and I made a backpack. I think it turned out good because I worked with no one.

Tower challenge

 Today we did the Whetu Tower Challenge and it was really fun. I worked with Cullen and Scarlett and our tower was 297 cm because we worked in the tallest place in the room.

 Today we did play, make, create I worked with Christian and we made, THE SUPER COOLER, I think it turned out good. 

Awesome kite day.

On Friday we did whetu challenge. We all made a kite, I made my kite out of a chef's flag, and it flew well it had a medium-sized tail.

Term 2, Week 1 2021

During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging.

I am now at the glass level of NumBots.  

I enjoy NumBots because it is fun moving up in the stages.

What I find challenging is moving up in the levels because they are so long.

This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables.

I think that TTRockstars is a really fun game because I used to be at the highest level, But now I am at the second-highest level because. It has been a very long time since I have played TTrockstars.

 Today we did Play, Make, Create. the title of the book was up the creek, I worked with Sol Franklin and Darius, we made a boat, and it turned out good.

 Today we did play, make, create. I worked with Christian and we both did the device that can change colours.

Whetu fun day.

My favourite part of the Amazing Race was when we were running and finding the codes.

The rotation I enjoyed the most was the team games in the hall because we got to chose the team we were in, and we had to find the bean bags that match the

colour of the group.

During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick in the ground outside the classroom, I saw it really fast.

maths mystery

 today we did a maths mystery I worked with Nate and I finally work out the culprit and it was Molly, the questions were quite easy I went through the questions quite fast.

Today we did play may create, I worked with Christian and Darius. we made a tent and a stream with water in it.

       Today we did play, make, create, and I made a tree out of a paper bag and leaves from a real tree, I worked by myself.

 Today I made a bridge for the mouse and I did it with Christian, Brooklyn, Darius, and Danny. The thing I found the most fun was testing the bridge out because we failed but we had to try to make it again the exact same but stronger.

Week 5, Term 1, 2021

  Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I did really good at all my races and I came 1,2,4 I did freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.  

We had two art sessions this week and in the first session I did the planning and the drawing part of the good copy and it already looks amazing.  

In literacy this week we have been doing book detectives and we are on predictor and we have finished summariser so far it is fun.

Part of our maths program is NumBots and I think I am doing really good because I am on steel which is the 6th one of the 18.    

Whetu challenge

On Friday we did  Whetu challenge, I think it was really fun and hard because we had to find all the leaves and sticks to put the creation.

Week 4, Term 1, 2021

 The most interesting thing we have done during class time this week is doing the bar graphs with Mrs, Kennedy.

We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs, Kennedy and we are doing landscapes. It is fun. 

We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look AMAZING and my mum and dad got to come in and help me.

Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling excited because I have gotten better at swimming.

Week 3, Term 1, 2021

Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Christan because I didn't know how to get my new description on the blog.

The most fun thing we have done during class time is numbots because it is new and fun.

The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunchtime this year is playing ball tiggy on the big blue with my friends.

One word that describes learning in Whetu is FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Something I am looking forward to is being a year 7 next year.
